What's Available To You During the Jam

Hey Developers!

We're excited to announce that MelonJam is starting on August 6th--just a few days away!

You will have a lot at your disposal when making your game. Notably, the echoAR workshop will start promptly at 8:00 AM Pacific time, so make sure to wake up early and start game jamming! echoAR has also offered their business-class services to all participants. You can sign up using our personal link.

On top of that, Balsamiq has offered 90-day extended trials for their wireframing service, with which you can make prototypes of layouts—handy for designing your game's menus. The promo code for the trial will be released via a Devpost update just prior to the start of the jam. Finally, Bitgem has offered access to a wide selection of their game assets for free. Like with Balsamiq, you'll receive access to these services via Devpost update right before the jam starts. There's a lot of prizes that are up for the grabs! Creating an echoAR project makes you eligible for a $50 Amazon gift card. The prize pool also includes $1000 in Bugsee credits, many HyperX gaming products, an unlimited student license from Bitgem, and much more! Bitgem also generously provided a $100 USD cash reward to the advanced first place prize.
